Rubbish as a resource

I have had a lovely creative day today.  I altered a blouse that I wasn't keen on by removing the cuffs.  I turned a hem back at the cuff edge and now I have a lovely lightweight jacket kind of top.   I have also added features to my mice and decorated the papier mache heart that I made some time ago.. All the embellishments on the heart are made from recycled materials and the wooden hands that the mice are sitting on are cut from an offcut from a kitchen worktop. The hands are actually copies of Alexander's and Tony's.  I drew around their hands many years ago and asked  'Bandsaw Alan' at the woodturners to cut them out for me.
